Dear Susan, So sad and tragic to hear of Kevin's passing. As you know, Kevin was a dear friend of mine for 40 years. Although we had drifted apart after he moved to the East Coast, we recently reconnected on the phone a few months ago. Kevin was in good spirits and we talked like it was just yesterday that we saw one another, a true testament to the friendship that we held. He was a genuinely funny, caring and insightful man. You and the Wardle family have my deepest condolences.

Watching the memorial video brought back memories of being at my grandma & grandpas house watching sports with my big Cousin Kevin while the family gamily got together for events. Our cousin, Kevin Wardle, was adorable and fun loving as a young boy and gorgeous but still fun loving as a young man. We always enjoyed his family’s visits to our house. We never met his wife, Sue, but his parents, Teresa and John, and his sister, Lisa, told us that they were very happy together. I was envious when they decided to move to New Brunswick. My sister, Cathy, and I spent our summers with family in Nova Scotia and we love the East Coast. We heard that Kevin grew to love it too. It was interesting to read that Kevin enjoyed cooking and loved cats. Cathy and I and our adult children all do too. We haven’t seen Kevin for years, but we thought of him often and were shocked and saddened by his sudden passing. The online photos are all beautiful and tell a story of the beautiful man that Kevin became. Teresa, John, Lisa, Dean, Elisabeth, Emily, Jacques, and Sue, please accept our heartfelt condolences. We can only imagine how you must be feeling. We send our love and prayers. Love Laura and Cathy and families. Love also from Uncle Willie.

To Sue and all of Kevin’s family Kevin and I were great friends throughout our early years, but as sometimes can happen, we lost touch. I was nonetheless very sorry to hear of his passing. We shared so many special adventures in our teens and twenties. It was very gratifying to read how some of his passions never changed. Like movies – how many times we saw Rocky and Rambo movies, I can’t even count! I wonder if he still enjoyed a video game now and then – considering how much time we spent at the local arcade playing our favorite video games I will always remember hm as a loyal, supportive, ever funloving friend. I am sure these qualities were not lost to him as they years went by. My thoughts are with you all during this most difficult time. .
