Obituary of Maud Marie Paule LaForge

It is with great sadness that the family of Maud Marie Paule LaForge announce her passing which occurred on Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Loretteville, QC on November 28, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Colette (Boulianne) Munger.

Maud left an imprint of love, compassion, and generosity that will forever illuminate the lives of those she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion as a mother, grandmother, sister, friend and mentor who dedicated her life to putting the needs of others before her own. Her thoughtful gestures, small and grand alike, were a testament to her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Whether it was a comforting word, a helping hand, or a heartfelt gesture, she always found a way to brighten the lives of those around her. Her love and unwavering support enriched the lives of her family, friends and colleagues, leaving them with cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Maud is survived by her loving husband Daniel LaForge of Hampton, NB; children: Christopher LaForge (Shannon Twine) of Hampton, NB and Danielle Kidd (Glen) of Quispamsis, NB; grandchildren: Blaire, Morgan and Liam Kidd; as well as many siblings, nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 4 to 7PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 1:00PM from Reid’s Funeral Home. Donations in memory of Maud may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
