I hope you can find comfort in knowing that she was a shining light in a lot of peoples lives, I can speak by saying that she was a true friend to our Melissa who loves her like a sister, I watched these girls grow from preschoolers to adults and always took comfort in know that they had each others back as much as possible. I personally had many conversation with Missy and a lot of laughs through out the years. Gavin, please remember that you are welcome to come stay all you want at the trailer. I am so shocked to hear about Melissa’s passing. I first met Melissa at Community Youth Services when she came to work there. She was fresh out of College but she was such a joy to work with. She had such a gentle and calming personality. She later moved to Alberta for a short time, where we reconnected. She came to work for me at a group home I was supervising in Edmonton. I was happy to have her, she was such an asset to the home. I haven’t been in touch for quite a while but my heart hurts. My condolences to her family. May her sweet son find some peace in his mom’s memory.
