Obituary of Lew Moulton

It is with great sadness that the family of Lewis Moulton announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Garnish, NL on January 14, 1940, he was the son of the late Archibald and Annie (Harris) Moulton.

Lew is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cathy (Harnish) Moulton; his daughter Valerie Ellis (Bruce) of Halifax, NS; his sons: Scott Moulton (Tabetha) of Hampton, NB, Chris Moulton (Sylvia) of Hampton, NB, and Trevor Moulton (Pamela) of Hampton, NB; grandchildren: Christopher (Bry), Shannon, Victoria, Zachary (Laura), Lexie (Nick), Gabrielle and Payton; great-grandchildren: Aiden (Alex), Charlie and Amelia; and his first great-great-grandchild “baby Ellis” arriving in March; Stephanie Moulton (mother of Zachary & Gabrielle); brother Harry Moulton (Vangie) of Halifax; nephew Paul and nieces Debbie & Heather. In addition to his parents, Lew was predeceased by his sister Edna Miller, and nephew Thomas Miller.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital - Palliative Care Unit for the care that was given to Lew during his stay, especially Dr Christian Mackin.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, where all services will be held privately.
