Wendy, Garnet, Luke, Jacob & Jackson, my heart is hurting and broken learning about Amanda’s passing. I thought the world of Amanda. I can still see her sitting in my kitchen laughing at us adults playing board games. The world is a shade darker without her bright presence, kind manner and sweet smile. I was saddened to hear of Amanda’s passing.
Although I didn’t know her well, she was always near the Hampton mall.
She was the server at Angelos until they closed, her husband worked at Independent and she was a frequent visitor to Tim Hortons.
Our paths crossed frequently, and I’m sure most who shop in Hampton would recognize her.
Amanda always had a smile and a cheerful hello and we would often exchange stories and milestones when we were both pregnant, and would chat about our kids as they grew. (Our kids are both the same age, and she was always so proud of them when we would chat.)
She was a very sweet person, and my heart goes out to her husband and their sweet boys at her sudden and unexpected passing.

Dear Luke & family,
Please accept our deepest sorrow & condolences on your loss. Amanda was truly beautiful.... inside & out. Few people EVER can claim that! Her unending & boundless smile was Intoxicating! Her talent for intricate miniature dioramas was amazing. All lovingly displayed inside & out of your home. Amanda's love of the "written word" & inspirational quotes gave visitors a glimpse into her joys, goals.... & best of all... into her heart. Her brilliant mind, her deep thoughts, her cheerful voice & delightful intellectual conversations will be missed. She was known to be a caring person & was loved by all. What a testimony to the love of all in her family! Although she suffered health issues, she loved the promises she found in the Bible for a far brighter future. Isaiah 65:17 says " ...And the former things will NOT be called to mind, Nor will they come up into the heart". She believed this & knew it was impossible for God to lie. Every single beautiful molecule of Amanda is being safely treasured in God's unending memory. Surely, if God makes a promise we can trust it. Amanda did. We look forward to seeing her again in Christ's promised resurrection. Amen.
