Only learned of Dave's passing this morning. He was a super guy to know and play golf with. Always enjoyed playing with him and Marg. Mary and I looked forward to those days. RIP dave. You will not be forgotten.

We didn't get to see Uncle David a lot since we live in the states, but when he would visit, I always got a kick out of the stories him and Dad would tell. Those two were always up to something which is probably where my brothers and I got it from. We'll miss you Uncle David. Love, Reid,Brooke, Kennedy and Avery.

We are so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Remembering when Dave used to make frequent visits to the muffin man to visit Marg and that’s where love bloomed. Chris remembers Dave from work and we both remember family functions where we got to enjoy Marg and Dave’s company. Uncle David was the most unpretentious person you could meet. I’ll miss his weary smile (sometimes with teeth, sometimes without), gravely voice, and dry sense of humour. I count myself lucky to have known him.

“Uncle David” (actually my husband Ryan’s uncle) will surely be missed by our entire family! He was a wonderful man, husband, bother, and uncle… this I know for sure! Ryan, our daughters Taylor and Laney, and myself were able to go to Canada late this past Summer to visit. For 3 days we were mesmerized by his stories and the love he showed us all and especially the love for his precious Marg!
