Sending all of our love and prayers to the O'Dell family during this difficult time. Kelly and I were both blessed to have had Clydetta as our teacher at Woodward Junior Academy. She will be remembered for being such a loving, dedicated Christian teacher, who did her utmost to encourage us in both our academics and relationship with God! We're so thankful for the blessed hope of the resurrection morning!

To Gary and Family. Sending my sincerest condolences at such a sad time in your lives. Clydetta has and will always hold a special spot in my heart. In 1974 I accepted the position of grades 1-4 teacher at the Barnsville SDA School and was provided room and board with the O'Dell family. It was my first year teaching and Clydetta not only provided a place for me to live but embraced me as part of the family. She fed me well, regaled me with stories of her childhood in Montana and her adventures in Alaska and her courtship with Gary (which always made Gary blush if he was in earshot). After school I often tagged along on shopping trips to Saint John or Hampton. I remember the school year I spend in Barnsville as such a pleasant time in my life and Clydetta was integral to such happy memories.
"Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning." What joy there will be in that great resurrection morning when loved ones will be reunited and every tear will be wiped away.

Clydetta was an important person in both our lives. She was the teacher at Woodward Junior Academy teaching Bonnie’s girls, Erica and Andrea, and my daughter, Maria. She was also my colleague, and friend, for six years. We both have many fond memories of her dedication and love of teaching. She will be greatly missed.

Clydetta was my teacher many years ago. She was easily the best teacher my family and I had. She was such a strong, loving, beautiful woman. As a teacher /friend she always went above and beyond, she was so involved with us, I remember always feeling loved and safe in her school. We were the luckiest kids on the planet to be taught by her. She made sure we had experiences there that we would never forget. Catching tadpoles in her pond, eating healthy snacks, going on field trips, I’ll cherish those memories forever. My condolences to her family and friends. ❤️

My deepest sympathies during this time. Mrs O’Dell was my Grade 1-6 teacher and I always remember her soft words and encouragement. And when our paths crossed later in life ; she always took time to ask how my family and I were. Truly a kind and caring person.

She was mine and my sister’s school teacher for many years and I have so many fond memories with her. She had given me such a strong foundation as my teacher from grade 1 on, and I know for a fact had it not been for her kindness and caring heart, I would not be where I am today. I am sure there are many former students who would say the exact same.
Many hours spent teaching us chimes, bible lessons, school basics, and everything in between (even how to steer a car!)
I know if there is any woman that would be in heaven, it would be Clydetta - so I am not sad for her, but rather, the rest of us left here. My heart is with her family this week, she will be greatly missed.

She was my school teacher, religion instructor, piano teacher, babysitter, and sometimes sabbath school teacher. She was ever present from when I was born until I grew up. I didn't always make things easy for her, in fact I know that I didn't, and she spent hours working on my penmanship for me to still write like, "a 40- year old mechanic", but her influence on my life was paramount. She was very much loved and will be very much missed.

I’m so sorry for your loss Gary, Rosalie, Eugene and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all! To me, Clydetta was one of the most loving and excepting humans I’ve ever met on this planet. Knowing her, and watching how she lived her life, was such an example to me of faith, love and eternal hope. So many times over the years, I observed her living out her purpose on this earth in real time, and it was never lost on me, and I have no doubt many others who had the privilege of knowing her witnessed this also! Her faith and ultimate trust in God was to me a true inspiration!

Clydetta a wonderful Christian lady who loved her family dearly and had kind words for every one she spoke of1 My daughter Angela'a school teacher who helped greatly in her getting her grade 12 and making sure all her school children were healthy. She welcomed friends including me at her home where we felt in place. A great song for us all to remember is When we all get to Heaven. lovely memories till then.
