I only just heard today of Randy's passing, and to say that I am blown away would be an understatement. Randy and Glen are without a doubt two of the finest and most charming people I have ever had the honour of knowing. I will miss seeing Randy's smiling face and his wry sense of humour. May he rest in peace, and may the good Lord wrap his loving arms around Randy and all of those who mourn his passing.

I will always remember Randy with this great big smile and now I can hear his voice whenever we had a conversation. I first met Randy at Japan Camera when I had some photos that didn't turn out very good. He suggested that I might be interested in some photography classes that they were offering. I would never have guessed that would be the start of a very long and precious friendship with Randy & Glen. I went from learning how to use my camera properly to taking many wedding photos for 12 years. The boys got to know my whole family ❤ I even took Santa Photos, developed film and worked in their photo studio. It was an amazing time working at Japan Camera back then! I was so very proud also with all their success with Java Moose. Randy was always eager to pay back the community and I believe they did that time and time again. Although I haven't seen Randy for several years, I will miss him very much, but I have many wonderful memories of time spent taking pictures with him and I am eternally greatful for his friendship and photography knowledge that he shared with me and everyone else who belonged to Japan Camera Club. I'm sure there are thousands of people around the world who appreciate their cup of Java Moose coffee too. My condolences to Glen, Randy's family, the staff of Java Moose and many friends. You will always be remembered! RIP Randy ❤

My family and I are very sorry to hear of Randy's death. I met Randy through Java Moose when He and Glen had first started their business. For a number of years we spoke on the phone a few times a year. My children (young at the time) have happy memories of speaking to Randy about how things were going with them , when I wasn't the first to the phone. Randy was the kind of genuine person one rarely has the luck to meet, so we are very happy we did get that chance. Our sincere condolences to Randy's family

I first met Randy and Glen in the early 90’s when they operated their photo shop in the McAllister Mall, and then went on to the Java Moose venture. It was always fun over these years to take a few minutes and get caught up on what was going on with them and next on the planning board. It is so sad that Randy is gone. I recall meeting both Randy and Glen on a few occasions when Java Moose was first opened in McAllister Place. They were both so friendly and the bond shared was very evident. I have been lucky enough to run into Randy over the years in the mall, uptown, and in the Valley, and share how much I enjoy Java Moose and loved seeing it grow (which always made him smile and nod along). He was a light and friendly spirit in the community. Definitely will miss seeing him around. My condolences go out to you all.
