Obituary of Billy MacDonald

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Billy” MacDonald announce his passing which occurred on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB. Born in Saint John on February 8, 1968, he was the son of the late Wes and Marion Nason. Billy is survived by many friends, extended family and neighbours in the Hampton & Bloomfield area.

Billy was known to be the most kind hearted person, who would give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help. He loved good time oldies Sunday night and danced and sang to almost every song. He always enjoyed singing and playing his guitar whenever he could. Billy’s smile was contagious, and his loving heart was infectious. He will be forever missed, rest in peace our friend.

Billy lived at the Riverdale Manor, and family and friends would like to extend  a special thank you to the staff for all their amazing care and compassion. Also, a sincere thank you to the staff at Sussex Health Centre for their care given towards Billy and his family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A Celebration of Billy’s life will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM from Bloomfield Baptist Church. Interment will take place at Big Rock Cemetery, Bloomfield, NB.
