TO THE STANLEY FAMILY, IT HAS QUITE A FEW YEARS SINCE WE LIVED IN HAMPTON AND MY LATE HUSBAND ERIC
WORKED WITH ROY STANLEY DRIVING OIL TRUCK IN SURROUNDING AREAS. SHIRLEY LOOKED AFTER MY DAUGHTER,DIANNE WHILE WE HAD HAD A FUNERAL IN OUR FAMILY.
WE ENJOYED LIVING IN HAMPTON PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE AND KIND. WE MOVED TO PETTY NEXT.

So sorry for your loss of a special mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Have several memories as a child, as she took in our baby brother, Carl (6 weeks old) when our mother died suddenly. Remember the times visiting Aunt Shirley and Uncle Roy at their home when our three were little, and their six were a few years older, with two becoming our trusted babysitters.
Also remember when I called Aunt Shirley in the middle of labor pains with my first, with her telling me to go to the hospital NOW! There were other times I needed to talk to her, too.
Brenton, Janice, Kim, Tanya, Krista, and Brad - your mum was great, as evidenced by how you all turned out.
"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted", and will keep His arms around you, in this time of sorrow.
