I was fortunate to come along at the time Don & Rena were selling their house on New Ireland Rd in Albert, in 2017. I still live there now and love it there. Such positive energy being in the house and on the property. I know it was because of the many years they lived there and all the wonderful memories they had there. I’m so grateful for this. Don & Rena were so gracious the times I dropped over for a viewing. And then they came back for a visit a few months after I moved in. Very fond memories. I promise to make many more memories in this house.
My thoughts are with Rena, Stephen and family at this time.

Our sincere condolences to Rena and Stephen and family
Don was neighbor of ours for many years. Anytime you needed a hand Don and Rena would be there
I remember the times Don would drop by and Lynn would sharpen Don's powersaw..Don always had a story or joke to tell and if you needed advise on a natural remedy Rena wad the one to call
They both loved the Lord and it was evident
So sorry for your loss but one thing you know for sure is ...he is in the Lord's hands now
I know you will miss him Rena and Stephen but you do have many fond memories to cherish
In sympathy

Rena and Family
We were so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I always enjoyed our brief conversations at the grocery store or in the parking lots. I was a fellow teacher at Princess Elizabeth School when Don taught Shop there. I used to go down to the shop often and had many conversations with Don. I remember the time when Don had purchased a small dish set, obviously without checking with Rena first, and I ended up purchasing it from him. We still have a few of the pieces from that set and use them occasionally in the microwave. I often think of Don when they are used. He will never be forgotten.

Brother Don...Don Introduced our family to Christ in a real and living way back in the early 1970's. His influence on the trajectory of my life cannot be understated. His encouragement to pursue my goals in the outdoors (including trapping and hunting) in my early teens has stuck with me.
I've since taught children outdoor skills and the hunter education course in British Columbia and have also been the local churches Sunday School teacher/superintendent for the last 43 years - a large part due to Don's influence.
We were blessed to take Don on a hunting trip up the Alaska Highway in BC in 1977.
His quick wit and his enduring quirky smile when he was up to something will be missed for sure.
May the Lord Jesus Christ whom Don loved so well, be a close comfort to the entire extended group of friends and family is our prayer.
God especially Bless Sister Rena, Steve and the crew.

I mentioned "Mr. Copp" in a Facebook comment regarding the loss of Home Economics and.Shop from the school curriculum two weeks ago. He taught me from 1962 to 1965 at St. Malachy's, and nurtured a lasting influence and respect. My condolences.

Condolences to all the Copp family ... I was a student of Don's in Industrial Arts Class at St. Malachy's High School in the late 1960s ... I remember he ran a very structured class and was always willing to help and explain processes thoroughly ... obviously a very talented individual ! He will be missed and remembered and will be in my thoughts and prayers . ( I retired from St. Malachys in 2005 after teaching there for 23 years .)

Condolences to the family ,Mr Copp was the best teacher he had the nicest nature and great smile I have thought of him many times over the years . I was in his little office in shop class when the space shuttle exploded we were all gathered around a little black and white tv , he reached up and shut it off a big tear running down his cheek , we just sat in silence rest of the class . He truly will be missed . Phil Hunter
