Ruby, Terry & Georgie & grand children , We were so sorry to hear of Elsie’ passing . She was a wonderful lady , always doing for someone else as Georgie did along side of her. She was my school teacher in Primrose school and I loved her , she was so kind and loving to all the children there . I used to get strawberries and apples years ago from her & Georgie . May she Rest In Peace with our Lord and Saviour , Jesus Christ until you all meet again . Claudette and John Lammers.

To Ruby , Georgie and family , Elsie ( also Georgie) will always be remembered as the apple Ladies , to me. Elsie and Georgie always had some deals for everyone in the community. I remember from my Nanny Lois McKinney, and my Mom , Darlene Bradley, they were always going to pick up McCain’s Pie orders, picking strawberries , or we would get the call at apple picking time , who wants a bushel of Apples from Elsie’s ? The rest of the family would get the call from our mothers , so they served a lot of us over the years, I even made the trip up the hill last fall this time for mom and I , Georgie had the car full. Even though Elsie wasn’t into the picking them , Georgie said she still went with her for the drives. I’ve always look up to them both through the years , remembering the baby shower gifts when I became pregnant for my first child , then the red white polka dot tea cups , she gave as a wedding gift, in 1987, I still keep in my China cabinet today. Thank you for sharing your Mom with us Ruby, , and Georgie you and your sister were the best team, thank you for all you have done. You are loved and treasured dearly. So sorry to hear of Elsie's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to Ruby and Terry and their familys and to Georgie who was always by her side in good times and hard times. They were as closest sisters than of anyone I knew, Whether they were baking -,gardening- ,making preserves,-picking apples or berries or just out for a drive they were always together ,and if they stopped to see you their was always a smile. Elsie taught me in 3rd grade at Barnesville School --A fond memory of younger years.. She will sadly missed by anyone who had the good fortune of knowing her. My thoughts are with you.
