My sincere condolences to the whole family. George was a great guy who treated everyone well. My earliest memory of George was back in the Hillhurst subdivision as a little 5 year old and as a teen he gave me a set of golf clubs to use as I became a junior member at Riverside. Those clubs spent many an hour touring courses throughout NB and PEI. Thank you for the memories. A great father to his children. Rest in Peace George!

Dear Barbie & Family
I am terribly saddened by the news. As you know during the 13 years we lived next door to each other George made it his business to look out for me. Such a lovable curmudgeon. Always advice, lots of laughs and a broad shoulder.
After a day at work I would arrive home to find some of the fruits of his labour "garden bounty" on my front step. The smell of garlic wafting through the air when he was preparing the year's harvest for the next year I will never forget.
The chats on the front deck with you and George, he jumping on his scooter to run to the garden waving as he drove by and his impish smile. A loss for everyone.
His children and you were his life. What a family unit.
With Love, Jocilyn
