John and I want to wish the Barry family our condolences at the loss of your wonderful Mom. We have many fond memories of growing up in Renforth with the "Barry clan". Mrs. Barry was always so kind and pleasant. I remember thinking how terrific she always looked. My memories include walking up that long hill after a day at the beach, with usually a few of the Barrys; lots of good times. This wonderful lady must have been so very proud of her terrific family.
Sorry we couldn't make the funeral Mass today.

I was at Malcom and Frances wedding . Both wonderful people as I have said in past but as a family doctor, I have to say Frances was and is one of the the most amazing woman I have ever known. She was smart , competent , articulate, level , understated , a wonderful Mom I suspect, and raised along with Malcom a large family who have made the rest of us Barrys proud to be associated with. Frances will be deservedly rewarded for her goodness in the next world I am sure. My best to her birth family, children and grandchildren . Barrys are not always smart but Malcom was brilliant to marry a Bowes and I recognized this as a 5 year old at their wedding. Frances does not need our prayers , but we need her prayers.

As the eldest of the 56 Barry grandchildren of Grandfather and Grandmother Barry I had the honour of being an.altarboy at Uncle Malcolm and Aunt Frances wedding.Since Frances was only 10 years older than me, I would tease her by calling her Aunt Frances occasionally on social occasions.Many of their 13 children believed for many years I was just another Barry uncle and not their eldest first cousin. Frances was a wonderful person mother and aunt who has left in her children grandchildren and great grandchildren with Malcolm.a wonderful legacy that they all can.cherish proudly

Even as kid visiting the Barry family in Renforth, Frances was always unbelievably calm, considering she and Malcolm had 13 kids running around the whole community, including the wharf and the beach. Nothing seemed to bother her. In recent years, every time I met Frances at a family event of any kind, I marveled at how she maintained her impeccable appearance and her wonderful sense of peace.
