Mom was the kindest person you could ever meet. She was an awesome baker and cook. She loved to go camping, reading, walking, and playing cards. She adored Elvis, the King of Rock N roll and enjoyed attending tribute performances with her daughter, Brenda and grand daughter, Kate. She loved family gatherings with lots of good food and Mom’s favourite dessert, “some of each”. A gentle soul, Mom had a special place in her heart for all animals, large and small. She was so witty and made us laugh every day. She was loved by everyone who met her, and she genuinely cared about everyone. She will be sadly missed, and life won’t be the same without her.
Special thanks to Suzanne MacFarlane at Turnbull for being there with us at the end. Your kindness will not be forgotten.
