Lou, Julie, Cathy, Lynn:
Sorry to read about Shirley's death. You must all be very proud of her and her many accomplishments. She was certainly a go-getter and served her community in so many ways. I recall that she was soft spoken and often had a warm smile, especially when she was golfing at Hampton, enjoying every minute with her 9-ers. Be assured that your relationship with her will continue as you recall the multitude of fond and treasured memories together.
I have made a donation to Hospice in her memory.

My sincere condolences to Lionel and daughters Julie, Cathy and Lynn on the passing of his wife and their mother. I have had little contact with the family since I was a child visiting their home in Halifax with my father and Lionels uncle Norman Corkum. I had occasional contact with Shirley in her place of employment on Duke St. in Saint John prior to her retirement as my dentist was in the same office. I thought of Shirley as a kind and friendly women with whom I enjoyed chatting later in life. She will be missed by family and many friends and acquaintances. Heather Corkum Fischer

Shirley gave me my first real "office job". She was so generous and gracious to me. I was inexperienced, immature, and talked more than I listened! What I remember most about Shirley was that she was a very intelligent, classy, and poised woman. She had a wonderful laugh too. She was just a lovely lady and I am so sorry for your loss.
