Hoadley’s Family , We were saddened to here of the passing of our dear friend of 44 years. Hoadley was a mild mannerd ,beautiful soul . He loved life, his family first and friends. He came to visit us often in Hammonds Plains and always enjoyed his coffee and chocolate chip cookies. Joanne, Tim, Kathy, Andrea and Family. We wish to send our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Hoadley. I have many fond memories of time spent together camping so many years ago. We were fortunate to be on Uncle Hoadley's route across Canada a couple of years ago, we had a great visit, so much so that I totally forgot to take any pictures. I had to chase him down the road and guide him in to our difficult to find home. I was also lucky enough to visit again in 2019 when I came to NB to see Dad. May you rest in peace Uncle Hoadley. Everyone in Tantallon is very sad and upset to hear of Hoadley's passing. He was a friend to all. He was a kind, gentle person who offered help or advice without asking anything in return. He loved to laugh and to make others laugh with his stories. He has been greatly missed since he moved back to New Brunswick. His passing has touched us all. Phil and Nancy MacLellan Upper Tantallon

Dear Johanne, Cathy, Tim, Andrea and families. We are so sorry to say farewell to Hoadly. I have so many great memories of him. Sipping my first taste of his beer in the kitchen in Kingston. Getting fished out of the water by him in Jemseg. Riding on his boat Ont. Having him drop by for coffee and fix practically anything. It was up-setting to learn of Hoadley's passing. Indeed a superb friend. We first met in Kingston Ontario in 1968 when we lived beside the Brown family in military housing. Water fights with our kids during the day and evening barbecues with the adults were hilarious times. Years passed when the only contact was by a card at Christmas or a phone call. However permanent contact was re-established in 2014 when he was living in the Halifax area and he learned that we were in the Valley. It wasn't long after that he was parked on our driveway with his Harley!! He will be missed by so many and especially his Family; Joanne,Tim,Kathy and partner Andrea. Andrea, Joanne, Tim, and Kathy – My condolences to you and your family. I have many memories of Hoadley which I will never forget. We met in the late 80’s and shared many serious discussions and laughs. He was the better friend. We both loved motorcycle touring with many trips long and short around the province and into the USA. To name a few, Upstate New York, Bar Harbor, and many more. One special tour included many places such as Santa Fe and Albuquerque New Mexico, Grand Canyon, and Los Vegas. There were many places along the way. We endured snowstorms when crossing mountain passes and extreme heat in the desert areas. At the top of one mountain pass we stopped to try and warm up. Prior to getting back on the bikes, we made snow angles on the shoulder of the road. When we started that tour, we never considered we would be in snowstorms. Was never so glad to see a MacDonald’s and hot coffee at the bottom of that pass.

Myra and I were so very sorry to hear of Hoadley's passing. Our thoughts go out to the family at this very sad time. We used to see him at Tim's and he used to go to the Jam's at Sussex Corner. He was telling us a while ago that he wanted to take his motor home across Canada and we were so glad that he was able to enjoy the trip. Rest in peace Hoadley. You will be missed.
