So sorry to hear about Karl VEI BBA passing I am not a ham operator but just a short wave listener I have sincerely enjoyed listening to Karl for many years He was a joy to listen to When he would check into the nets everybody would say HELLO to him

Met Karl for the first time in 1992 at a LCARC meeting.I knew no one there and he came right over and shook my hand and introduced himself. Big grin on his face. Being so new to the radio hobby he was quite encouraging as I took my course. Saturdays at Burger King with the group and ALWAYs had a story to tell. When My wife got into the hobby he made her feel extra welcome. Once again always a smile to greet her.. He will be missed by many. On and off the air. 73 Karl.. Rest in peace my friend.
