Cheryl, Rick, Trevor and Jennifer: very sad to be reading this today. Your Mom was always the coolest mom in the neighborhood. Always laughing...the perfect complement to Hux's dry sarcasm. I'd see her every couple of years around town. Once, I introduced my youngest daughter whose middle name is Rose. Your Mom said "Oh, isn't that nice...you named one of your children after me!". She always had a great sense of humour. I'm very sorry for your loss.

Rose was a very good friend of mine when I lived in Gondola Point. She was a kind and a fun-loving woman. We had lots of good times together. Hux coached my son, Greg, in hockey. They were such a nice couple. I miss them both. Your family has my sympathy.

I was extremely sad to get the news of your moms passing. My children were also sad to hear this. Although I only met Ricky, we still grew up hearing all the wonderful things about Aunt Rose and Uncle Hux. Im happy to hear Rose had a happy life as an adult and was loved by her family and those that knew her. Although we grew up miles away, myself, brother, sister and my children always knew about our Aunt Rose and what a wonderful woman she was.
