SHIRLEY KEDDY posted a condolence
OUR LORD JESUS HAS RECEIVED A DEAR, SWEET, SPIRIT THIS WEEK AND WE WILL ALL MISS HER SO. SHIRLEY WAS A DEAR , TRUE FRIEND TO ME FOR MANY YEARS. I CALLED HER MY BIG SISTER,' SHIRLEY ETHEL' AND SHE CALLED ME, 'SHIRLEY GIRL'. I KNOW SHE WILL BE SINGING WITH THE ANGELS--MAKING THEM LAUGH, GIVING THEM HUGS, JUST LIKE SHE DID US! IN SYMPATHY & PRAYERS. SHIRLEY & AL KEDDY

I have so many memories of Shirley. We sang for many years in the church choir. She, Alice Bryant and I sat together and if one went off, we all did. Many laughs with Sylvia. I remember the day they arrived with the same dress. And it didn't bother either one. They were such good friends. Shirley and I often went to Holly's restaurant after church. When we stopped going the restaurant couldn't continue operating.

Dear Mr Whittaker; I hadnt been able to visit my mother at Embassy Hall for a week or so but I finally was able to go last evening. I always look to see if Shirley is around when I go, as she was one of the first residents that I met when my mother first moved in last February. I was so surprised and so sad to walk by her room, and see a different name on 222. Please accept our condolences on her passing. But I want you to know that, even though she was not well, she was always very welcoming to me. She made me feel just a little better about the fact that I had to have my mother there. I will miss her friendly personality, her smile, her positive comments. I think she was pretty special to still have a great spirit about her even with her illness. I can only imagine what type of person she was in her younger days. Embassy hall is going to feel a little more institutional now without her. She didnt let her illness quell her love of life, please dont let her passing quell yours. Mrs C Woodruffs( 228) daughter and son in law; Joan and Kevin Lowney
