Terry, your time has come to give up that terrible , devastating battle with cancer. It was a hard fought battle and you did not give up easily. This war was your war. You were always interested in the military and its history and the battles won and lost. You were very respectful , caring for those who were lost during battle. There was a poem that was written in the First World War called in Flanders Fields. In that poem there is a passage with the greatest of respect which applies to you. I will only alter the word for we to I but it will not change the message, a message you would proudly deliver to your family and loved ones. It goes as such : To you from failing hands I throw the torch, be it yours to hold it high. His values, strength, sense of family, his search for right and wrong and standing up for what is right. This is the torch he has tossed, to be held high and never let it be extinguished. Let us all proudly hold that torch. You have been a mentor and an example setter. You will be greatly missed by all.
