Condolences to Irene's family and friends. Irene was indeed a very kind, fun and special lady who always had time for a visit. As children we walked up the cottage lane to her place (as we did many years before to visit her lovely mother Perley). We brought our own children to visit Irene in recent years and she even let the kids ride up the stairs in her "machine" and looked quite pleased when they did!
