Please accept my deepest sympathies. Kit's parents adopted my family when we moved to Montreal from New York and had no family here in Town of Mount Royal. Many a Sunday dinner was spent at the dining room table with the Henry's. I went off to St Thomas University with Kit and then while she and Jeb remained in NB I returned to McGill, where I remained close to her parents even after they moved to Brockville. I hold dear the wonderful memories and wish that you also find comfort in yours.

How do you say goodbye to someone who was your childhood playmate, your cousin, your friend and was a person dearly loved by the family? Our Dads were brothers and our 2 families spent every summer of the polio years at Bark Lake in a large 6 bedroom cottage. We were instructed from a young age on how to change a shearpin, how to mix the oil in the 3 horsepower motor we called the "coffee grinder", how to put on the bulky MaeWest life preservers, the art of rowing a boat and the world was ours!!! Six little Huckleberry Finns who enjoyed exploring unknown coves on and beyond the lake that our parents never knew existed! What glorious freedom we had. The only requirement "Be back at 5:00 for dinner. It was during these adventures that our lifelong relationships were forged. And many secrets were told and kept!! These were the golden years of childhood. Our parents have been gone for nearly 20 years and more, and now little Kit or Kitty as I used to call her, has been called to join the family circle as we all eventually will, one by one. Someday we will all be together again to recall the wonderful memories of our childhood. All of us and our beloved dogs and cats who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and will be with us again forever. Until then my girl, know that you were loved and will be missed so very much. To Jeb, Jody, Kim, Adam and the grandchildren, we extend deepest sympathy from our family to yours.
