It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the death of Kirk Donald Holland, age 29, of Sussex, NB, which occurred at his residence on Sunday, January 10, 2016. He was born in Saint John, NB, on October 7, 1986. Kirk always had a smile and made others smile with his wonderful sense of humour. He loved to exercise and was happiest when he was body-building. He enjoyed camping, fly-fishing and was a very good golfer. Kirk always wanted to help people and had a very strong relationship with God. Kirk will be sadly missed by his mother, Karen Holland of Quispamsis, NB; father Rodney Holland (Mary Beth) of Roachville, NB; brothers Ben Holland (Kelsey) of Quispamsis, NB, Joe Holland of BC; sister Willow Holland of Roachville, NB; maternal grandmother Audrey Hickingbottom of Rothesay, NB; several aunts, uncles and cousins and very special friend Melissa. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Donald Hickingbottom, paternal grandparents James Holland and Joan Encinas. He is resting at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541) 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB with visitation on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Service, conducted by Rev. Kelly Hudson-Lewis, will be held from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 16, 2016.
