Hi Freda: My condolences to you for your loss of Jim. I really wanted to be there to see you since I know you will be moving back to USA. I saw Jim in May and he asked me if I needed help and his diagnosis. He had his own issues but was willing to help me. Great to have meet you and you two were great together..Having loss Dave recently I know it will be difficult. Just remember the good times and what you have each taught each other. Take Care. Nanny, I know this must be an incredibly difficult time for you and not a day goes by that I don't think about you and Jim's family. Even if we aren't blood, Jim has always been a kind and exceptional person towards us and a doting grandfather to my younger brother Christopher. In remembering Jim I remember the spirit of the music within him and the music that he shared with us most of all. After every visit and meeting with him I was always left with smiles and whimsical thoughts of places where music and culture brought people together and of a man whose life embraced the personality, curiosity, and charm of the every day. I am grateful for the stories and times I was fortunate enough to share with him, and will always fondly smile at the wisdom he taught me could be found in a laugh. Though the world is short one storyteller, the angels have most certainly gained one heck of a musician. May he continue to inspire us to dance.
