Obituary of Christopher "Bub" Cullen

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Christopher “Bub” Murray Cullen announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on December 7, 1990, he was the son of Dr. Murray and Beth (Ewart) Cullen of Hampton, NB.

Bub was larger than life; his loved filled the room. He was a hard worker and loyal to a fault. Bub always cherished his wife, children and family, and held those he loved most above all else in his life.

In addition to his parents, Bub is survived by his loving wife Shelby Cullen of Bloomfield, NB; his cherished children Ryan and Chloe; brother Johnny Cullen (Aimée) of Fredericton, NB; brother-in-law Zach Vautour of Hampton, NB; sister-in-law Alysha Vautour of Hampton, NB; father-in-law and mother-in-law Joseph Vautour (Yvonne) of Hampton, NB; grandmother-in-law Ilene Madore; as well as many extended family and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541) 1063 Main Street Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025, from Reid’s Funeral Home chapel. A private family interment will take place at Oceanview Memorial Gardens, Saint John, NB.
