Obituary of Jim Wade

It is with heavy hearts that the family of James Randolph Wade announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on October 26, 2024, at the age of 88. Born November 4, 1935, in Kingston, NB, he was the son of the late Roy & Laura (Waddell) Wade.

Jim will be sorely missed by sons Doug Wade of Canora SK, Dale Wade (Arlene) of Saint John, NB, Philip Wade (Christine) of Saint John, NB; sister-in-law Nancy Wade; grandchildren: Steven, James, Amanda, Nikki, Nathan, Jennifer, Geoffery, Madison and 6 great-grandchildren. His in-laws, the Clark family will also miss Jim and his many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Jim was predeceased by his wife Margaret (Clark) Wade, son Michael Wade, daughter, Susan Thompson and brother Roy Wade.

Jim was a man who loved everything about his gardens, from preparing the land to the finished products that he enjoyed and shared. He eventually became a Boston Bruins fan and he will be greatly missed.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street (506-832-5541), Hampton, NB, reidsfh.com where the visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00pm. A Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11:00am at Reid’s Capel. The interment will take place at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Clifton Royal, NB.
