Obituary of Tom Turnbull

With heavy hearts, the family of Thomas James Turnbull announces his death, which occurred on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Montreal, QC, on March 22, 1940, he was the son of the late Donald and Isabella (Somerville) Turnbull.

Tom is survived by his wife Margaret (Carmichael) Turnbull of 58 years; daughter Heather Turnbull of Saint John, NB; sons: Robert (Beverly) Turnbull of Riverview, NB, Andrew (Kim Kilpatrick) Turnbull of Hampton, NB, Peter (Krista) Turnbull of Kingston, NB; grandchildren: Brittany Mabey, Brandon Savage, Ethan Turnbull, Liam Turnbull, Owen Turnbull; sister Ella Turnbull; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother Wallace Turnbull.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 2:00pm, from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel.
