Obituary of Virginia Gail Bovaird
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Virginia Gail Bovaird announce her passing which occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 7, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born on March 28, 1953 in Windsor, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Eileen (Holley) Craig.
Gail enjoyed playing many different sports over the years: bowling, baseball, softball (one of her favourite stories was to tell us how we were not to call her mom, to call her Gail on the ball field), golf, curling, poker, cards & hiking.
She liked to read many different authors (Steven King was her Favourite). She loved to watch the Blue Jays. She enjoyed going for drives with her husband.
Gail started her career at Greens Catering which she greatly enjoyed. She also worked as Human Resources for K-Mart & Zellers. She ended her career as a bus driver working along side her husband.
With all our hearts the best mom ever.
