I met Bill when he decided to learn how to play the fiddle in retirement. I have so many wonderful memories of playing music together, visiting with him and Gail, and hearing stories about his loved ones-Gail, Sue, grandsons and all his close friends. He was a kind and generous person with a great sense of humor and joy for life. I will miss him very much. Thinking of all his family and friends at this difficult time.

Gail and family, so very saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed chatting with him when he came to the store. He would leave the mood lighter than when he came in. He will be missed by many.

To Gail, Susan and family and John - I was very saddened to hear of Bill's passing, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember spending time at Aunt Ferns and hearing of the latest escapades of both Bill and John. I'm so grateful for the family times we had together while growing up and even though I have lived miles away those early years cemented our family relationships. I visited Bill and Gail at their home and raspberry farm and was amazed at the number of raspberry canes Bill had growing, what a project to have taken on. Lots of good memories, rest in peace cousin.

Gail and Sue, please accept our sincere condolences on Bill's passing. He was such a good friend to my father (Keith Fowler), they would sit in his truck in our driveway for hours talking about who knows what.
We miss seeing Bill around the Village.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

I'll never forget the first time he took me fishing for brook trout at a very young age, we drove for what seemed like hours and when we finally got out of the truck he asked where all of my fishing gear was, I didn't realise in the moment but this would be the first of millions of jokes he would play on me. He loved to torment, that he would admit any day of the week. I treasure every moment, from fishing with him as a youngster, to shooting the breeze with him as he got older. He will continue to be a pillar in my life as I walk through it with the wisdom and outlook he gave me.
