Obituary of Harold Percy Cusack

It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Percy Cusack announce his passing, which occurred on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the Loch Lomond Village, Saint John, NB. Born in Barnesville, NB, on September 5, 1938, he was the son of the late Harold and Pearle (Kilpatrick) Cusack.

Harold graduated from the NBCC electrical program, but his love of cars and customer service lead him to a successful career as a car salesman and manager.  He worked at many Chrysler car dealerships in Saint John during his 40-year career.

He enjoyed the simple, yet important things in life: His family, the camp, country music and his rocking chair.  He loved taking his family for long drives, eating at restaurants and picnics down the track.

Harold is survived by his daughters: Nancy Cusack (Patrick McMullon) of Rothesay, NB and Carolyn Hawthorne (Joe) of Bloomfield, NB; grandchildren: Trevor Esson, Patricia Esson, Jack McMullon, Annie McMullon, Brandin Hawthorne and Carrie Hawthorne; sister Phyllis Cusack (Joe McVicar) of Barnesville, NB; special cousin Jean Francis; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, Harold was predeceased by his loving wife Ruby Cusack; and daughter Sherri Cusack.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 12-2PM at Reid’s Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 2PM. Interment will take place following the service at Titus Hill Cemetery, Titusville, NB.

The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Cedar House – Loch Lomond Villa for all their care given to Harold and his family during his stay there. Your kindness and compassion will not be forgotten.
