Obituary of Doug Eagles
It is with heavy hearts the family of Douglas Wayne Eagles announce his passing at his home on July 23, 2024, at the age of 58. Born August 6, 1965, in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Henry & Ethel (Trainor) Eagles.
Doug will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 40 years Susan, son Christopher (Stacy), daughters; Sarah-Lynn (Ray) and Melissa; brother Del (Sandy) and sister Eleanor, several nieces and nephews. Doug had many friends, the ones closest to him were Terry Clark and Victor Holmes. Doug was predeceased by his father and mother.
He worked for the province of New Brunswick for over 30 years in several roles, and in 2019 he had to retire due to health issues. No one can take away the love he had for his family.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home, 1063 Main Street (506-832-5541), Hampton, NB. A Celebration of Doug's life will be held Saturday, July 27th from 4 to 6PM at his residence 9 Dineen Crescent, Hampton.
