We were greatly saddened to read about Jimmy's passing. Our two families go a long way back. We grew up on Princess Street Extension ,starting in 1958 when it was a mere dirt road. The Dickson and the Buggie families have known each other a long time. It was a wonderful neighborhood . Please accept our sympathies on your loss. May you find comfort in the memories you have. So very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I taught with Jim for many years and always knew him to be a kind and caring individual, in his professional and personal life. He enjoyed working with the pupils of all ages and was a great help to them. He also enjoyed the outdoor activities at school, including snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and canoeing with the teachers. Jim's Faith was important to him, and he was very accepting of his health issues, continuing with treatment and surgeries. "He fought the good fight" but was ready when his time came. I will miss seeing Jim at Mass and having our "little chats", with updates of the Miramichi happenings.`
My condolences to all Jim's family. Rest in Peace, Jim. He will be missed by many.

My late wife Sandy have known Jim since moving to Hampton in 2006. Together we enjoyed watching baseball, golf, tennis and outdoor adventure documentaries. While front porch sitting we reflected on our lives. We learned Jim was very proud of his Irish roots, family and his role as an educator.
My condolesences to all the family.
R.I.P. Jim.

Friends are a challenge as we move along in our lives, they weave in and out of our life fabric. Time and distance can stretch the fabric but it never tears. We are certainly glad that Jim was in our lives for over 60 years. Rest in peace, Jim.
Our sincere condolences are extended to Peggy, Billy and Rita, and Angela and Kevin.
