Deepest sympathy to the Martin family during such a hard loss to deal with. Peggy truely was a kind and always pleasant person to share even a small passing chat. It seems like just yesterday she use to drive me and Dean to Saint Mark's Sunday evenings. She could make that station wagon ride like a Cadillac. Funny the memories you remember. Hi Pat So very sorry to hear about your mom. I only met her a couple of times and I can remember her warm smile, and making me feel right at home. I loved the homemade socks you made me,I still have them.You said your mother taught you to knit and make socks years ago. Sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. All through my childhood I was one of those receiving her gentle generosity. It was like a second home for a few years. Lots of wonderful memories. She was a good role model, hard worker, and yummy cook. There was always a plate at the table for me. Leaving a legacy that will live on in her memory.
