What a lovely photo of Peggy and so lovely the write up about her. I met her at the Snow Centre when my mom was there in 2022. For awhile she could converse and tell me her relatives names and that she came from Ireland, and wanted to go "home".Now she is Home, bless her heart! She had a long life journey! Condolences to her family. Reta DunlopKing.

Jean ,& Other Sisters, and Peggy's Family,
Often, when I visited my husband at the Snow Center, I also visited Peggy. Many times we chatted
or I took her for a walk up the hall, in her wheelchair. She enjoyed seeing the fish in the tank, and
the scenery out the big windows. We talked about St Martins, Hillsdale, and people we both knew.
She loved to hear news of Billy Howe (my cousin who lives in Thunder Bay), and she enjoyed the
messages he sent to her. (She and her sisters babysat him and his brothers in Hillsdale, years ago.)
Peggy was also interested in hearing stories of bygone days, of her sister Mary's family,
Pauline, Robbie, Gertie, Arnie & John.
Peggy was a lovely person and always happy to engage in conversation. May she rest now in peace.

My condolences to all of Peggy's family. Peggy would like to claim that she could not sing when she came out to our singalongs, but somehow she always managed to learn in the few moments we sang together. Most times she had a smile, but on those days when she seemed down all I had to do was sing a bit of "The Belle of Belfast City" and a smile would flash across her face.. I miss her.
