Obituary of Tim Ashe
It is with great sadness that the family of Timothy Bruce Ashe announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at his home in Kingston, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on February 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Clifford and Mildred (Sweet) Ashe.
Tim was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobiling, and all things outdoors. He married his high school sweetheart, was a loving, dedicated father to his three beautiful daughters, and worshipped his three granddaughters. Tim graduated from Hampton High School, attended UNBSJ, and worked for Xerox for over 40 years. He was a longtime member of R.C.L. Branch #62.
Tim is survived by his loving wife Colleen Ashe (Reardon) of Kingston, NB; daughters: Corey Boland (James) of Fredericton, NB and Kate Whalen (Keith) of Hampton, NB; grandchildren: Fiona Whalen, Sydney Boland and Madeline Whalen; brothers: Clifford “Skip” Ashe (Kathy) of Kingston, NB and Randall “Randy” Ashe (Brenda) of Rothesay, NB; sisters: Bonnie Jenkins of Kingston, NB, Robin Best of Kingston, NB and Candace “Candy” MacDonald of Kingston, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tim was predeceased by his daughter Lindsay Ashe; sister Linda Pickering; brothers-in-law: Donald Jenkins, James Best and Alan MacDonald.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15 from 3:00 to 8:00PM at the Kingston Parish Hall, Kingston, NB. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 3:00PM from Trinity Anglican Church, Kingston, NB. Interment will follow at Trinity Anglican Cemetery.
