Obituary of Shirley Grace Taber

It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Grace Taber announce her passing which occurred on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Norton, NB on December 4, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor (Earle) Floyd.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Albert Taber (Suzanne) of Bloomfield, NB and Glen Taber (Debra) of Bloomfield, NB; brothers: Donald Floyd Jr. (Bernice) of Cassidy Lake, NB, Stuart Floyd of Sussex, NB and Douglas Floyd (Brenda) of Clover Hill, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her loving husband Kenneth Taber in 2014; and sister-in-law Ruth Floyd.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4 to 7PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 11:00AM from Reid’s Funeral Home. A private interment will take place in the spring at Riverbank Cemetery, Riverbank, NB.
