Obituary of Billy Piers

It is with great sadness that the family of William “Billy” Eldon Piers announce his passing which occurred on Sunday, March 10, 2024 in Kingston, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on November 15, 1961, he was the son of the late Eldon and Gertrude (Urquhart) Piers.

Billy had many nicknames that he was known by (Willy, uncle Bill, and G.O.A.T). In his spare time he enjoyed having a drink of R&R with his grape crush out in the garage along side his buddies. In his past time he enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, snowmobiling, dirt bikes, trucks & cars, and crossword puzzles. He was a free spirited fella, that lit up the party everywhere he went - he will definitely be missed.

Billy is survived by his sister Colleen DeVarenne (Rick) of Hampton, NB; nephew Shane DeVarenne (Megan); niece Stephanie DeVarenne (Courtney); great nieces Mylah, Macy and Milly; son Gary Beshara (Alysha); and grandchildren Lydia and Taevan Beshara.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB where visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4 to 7PM. A private interment will take place in the spring at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Billy may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
