John was a big part of my childhood while growing up helping my mom work at Yvonne’s Special Care home. He watched my siblings and I grow up and always treated us like family ❤️

So sorry to hear of the passing of our dear friend John. Over the years he managed to find a special place in our hearts. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers go out to Melda and the family. Thanks for giving us the opportunity for us to become friends with this wonderful man!

I love you Johnny boy!! You were like family to me over many years!! See you in heaven!! I always told you I wanted you to be my neighbor up there where you will be made completely well and healthy! You weren't a very religious man however I have no doubt I will see you again.....your actions of love, humor, and absolute kindness to all was an example of what
a true Christlike character is. Your heart and generosity was huge!! Rest well my friend till Jesus comes to get us!!

To John's family your husband,father and grandfather was so very special to us girls at the Snow centre we loved him dearly he made us laugh he had special names some of us . Thoughts and prayers going out to you Mel, Tan, Brett and families. Many fun memories go through my mind , when the children were little , many days at the track with John , where he could always be found .
