My sincere sympathy in the death of your father/grandfather.
I have probably not seen Laurence in over 50 years but he was a big part of my dad, Alden Earle's, life. Dad worked with his father and grandfather. In 1954, he was driving their logging truck when it went through the ice. Dad got out and pulled Laurence out of the truck before it sunk. Unfortunately his father died that day. It was a huge day in the life of my family and the Motts were good friends of my parents. Even though I was only 3, that day and your father,s name has been indelible in my memories. It’s Laurence and people like him that build great friends and community.

To Laurie, David, Malcolm, Darren and family
Your dad and your Mom were part of our child hood and continued through the years! I remember you coming to the Belleisle for a swim or your Dad helping Dad with Christmas trees or coming to play cards with Dad and Mom!
Even when Oran and I lived in Canmore ,Alb. , Laurence came to visit and I took him for a drive up the side of the mountain overlooking Canmore and never knew he had a fear of heights!
Your Dad will fondly be remembered, you are all in our thoughts and prayers
Oran & Debbie Perrin (Ganong)
