Obituary of Sonny Hebert

It is with great sadness that the family of Earl “Sonny” William Hebert announce his unexpected passing which occurred on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on November 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Earl and Mildred (Storey) Hebert.

Sonny spent his career working at Brookville Lime in Saint John and began working there in his teenage years. He loved being on the go, loved the outdoors and had a passion for cars. He also enjoyed playing guitar is his earlier years. He will be remembered as a humble and usually silly guy who always wanted to cheer others up with jokes.

Sonny is survived by his loving wife Julie Hebert (Colford) of Passekeag, NB; daughter Terri Hebert (Calvin Chase) of Belleisle, NB; granddaughter Victoria Hebert; siblings: Deborah Williams (Lloyd) of Codys, NB, Shirleen Richard (Eugene) of Saint John, NB, Shane Hebert of Saint John, NB, Kathy McGinnis (George) of Calgary, AB, Kenny Hebert of Saint John, NB and Laura Hebert of Saint John, NB; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to his parents, Sonny was predeceased by his brother Todd Hebert.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately.
