My sincere condolences and prayers to Don’s family. Don and I worked together at Health Canada for almost 30 years! He was a great co worker and friend. I spoke to Don a few days before Christmas and told him I’d try to get together with him and Lynn Ginn( secretary at Health Canada) for lunch before I left for Barbados but sad to say that never happened! Don is now at Eternal Rest with his beloved wife Ester.

The world is a little darker today from the loss of Don, he was a wonderful man and gentleman.
I meet Don through Mike many years ago. He and a number of other men use to play cards in a group that I called the “Old Guys” because Mike also played in another group that I called the “Young Guy” . It was a running joke.
Don also worked with Mike in the late 1960’s at Medjuck Furniture Store in Fredericton which I did not know about until about 7 years ago when Don and I were having a discussion.
May he rest in peace.

I would like to extend my sympathy to Don's family. Don was a great person to work for and with. He hired me as his secretary back in 1990. We worked together until his retirement but Ester and Don became friends with my husband and I. After our spouses passed we kept in touch by many phone calls and our lunches or lubber as Don would call them as we would go after lunch and before supper. We had many good laughs and talks together. I will miss Don's call, especially when he would get into a cooking crises. I was so shocked to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Don's family and all of his Hampton friends.. He was a great gentleman and friend. You"ll be missed Don.

Don was a very nice man, I’ve lived my entire life just a few houses across from Don, would always stop and chat for a minute while out walking my dog Gibson whom Don enjoyed seeing although his dog Barney did not. It was very sad to hear the news of Don passing, I miss walking by his home and seeing him in the window with his dog while he’s watching the blue jays play and would always give a wave. Rest easy Don.
