Obituary of Mike Basque

It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Harold Basque announce his passing which occurred on Monday, December 25, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Chatham, NB on April 30, 1963, he was the son of the late Leonard & Norma (Bradford) Basque.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Sheryl Allen of Nauwigewauk, NB; sons: Adrian Basque (Emma) of Saint John, NB, Calvin Basque (Jackie) of Quispamsis, NB and Nicholas Basque (Adriana Conesa) of Calgary, AB; the apples of his eye, his precious grandchildren: Dillon, Darci, Sadie and Kenadie Basque; sisters: Teresa Totten (Sterling) of Barnesville, NB, Rosemary Vautour of Saint John, NB and Amy Godsoe (Frank) of Saint John, NB; brother Lester Clark of Saint John, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Mike was predeceased by his brother Ivan Basque.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Arrangements will be posted to the Reid’s Funeral Home website once completed.
