I learned of Glen's passing today from Larry and may we express our sincere condolences to the family... I met Glen in Winnipeg in 1966 when he was a young apprentice in the CAF... Larry and I served together over many years and were best buddies and that's how I knew Glen. Again, please accept our sincere condolences and prayers are with you.

I feel very blessed to have known this kind and gentle man over the past several years. Glenn was always very generous with his time and his knowledge and helped Cheryl and I immensely with our cottage renovations. Judy, so sad to hear of Glenn's passing, both Glenn and Gary played a big role in my professional life, I wish I had got to know them both better personally. I have been pretty fortunate to have parents that have been so supportive throughout my life. One of our great achievement is the cottage. We could not have accomplished this much without my dad's construction knowledge and support. My mother was the worker! haha. I would just ask my father how do you do this? Then I would get the full long form details! My dad would say, "Anything you can put your mind to, you can do it!" (before and after construction) Thank you Dad xx

I was deeply saddened by the news of Glenn’s passing.I dealt with Glenn and Judy for about 20 years and considered them both friends as well as clients. Glenn was a good man and a friend and I will miss him greatly. He cared about friends and clients and treated all people he encountered with his wisdom and humour. I will miss him and mourn him and hope that all of us who shared any aspect of his life will treasure those moments for the rest of their lives. Although I didn’t know Glenn for a terribly long time his love for his family and his Country were unmistakably clear. I thank him for his long and distinguished service in our military. His work ethic, his honour, and integrity were obvious and admirable traits. Although neither of us chose these areas as a vocation, I fondly reflect on our mutual excitement when we talked about carpentry, excavators, his Argo, and our general appreciation for the outdoors. My Sincere condolences to Judy, Michael, Cheryl and their families. Glenn was the sort of man the world could use more of and he will be sorely missed.

Glenn was a friend and neighbour for almost 25 years in a few days. Always smiling and eager to chat about anything. A great source of knowledge on trees and gardening, animals, food, tools, mechanical things…but we never talked about anything he didn’t know or have an opinion on.
A family man with his little woman close by and countless stories about his two grown children and his grandsons he was so proud of.
I always knew where Glenn was by listening to him calling after Judy or the old John Deere puttering around the yard.
A great man was taken too soon and will be missed by those fortunate enough to know Glenn, He will always be remembered and never forgotten as a really great Guy.
I feel so bad for Judy, being left alone too early in life without Glenn. For Cheryl ( aka JudyII ) his girl, and Michael who I have never met that Glenn was so proud of.
May he rest in peace knowing he will always be remembered.
