Obituary of Barbara Elaine Fowler

It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Elaine Fowler announce her passing, which occurred on October 22, 2023, at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre, Hampton, NB. Born in Upham, NB on November 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Irene Kilpatrick.                     

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Brenda Freeze (Allen) of London, Ontario; grandchildren: Jeremy Freeze (Carolyn) and Rachel Towrie (Phil); great grandchildren: Chloe, Cailey, Joshua and Noah; sister Pauline Kincade; Don's family: Bruce Fowler, Marshall Fowler  and Geraldine Kisch and their children; as well as many extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her first husband Edison MacRae; and second husband Donald Fowler.

She dearly loved her large family and the reunions that she was able to attend. She enjoyed trips to Florida, playing cards, shuffleboard as well as square dancing. Barbara will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
