Obituary of Kathleen Ann Beuree

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kathleen Ann Beuree announce her passing, which occurred on September 30, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB after a courageous 16 year battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, NB on April 19, 1968, she was the daughter of Theodore and Kathleen (Daly) Foster.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Blair; daughters Angela Polchies (Bruce) of Waasis, NB and Megan Gallant (Brandon LaRocque) of Saint John, NB; son Martin Gallant of Calgary, AB; stepson Michael Gallant of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren Bruce and Oliver Polchies; brother Theodore (Ted) Foster (Shirley Rennick) of Saint John, NB; nephews Kyle Maxwell, T.J. Foster (Dominique Parent) and Nicholas Beuree-Edwards; a niece Natasha Beuree-Edwards, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Kathleen dedicatedly managed Hampton Subway for over a decade. She easily made relationships with her staff, coworkers, and customers due to her humour, devotedness, and infectious personality.

Not only a hobby, but Kathleen had a passion for card readings and spiritual guidance. Kathleen had a profound impact on all those who knew her due to her charismatic, and undeniable energy. She had a way of lighting up every room she walked into and making her presence known.

Kathleen’s family was the light of her life. She constantly expressed her adoration for her children, grandchildren, and other family members. She couldn’t be prouder of the life she built with her husband.

The family would like to thank Dr. Burnell for her role in Kathleen’s care over the last 16 years. As well as her nurses and other staff members who kept her comfortable and laughing. Thank you to the emergency department and 5A South for your care and support on Kathleen’s last day.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Reid’s Funeral Home from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm.
