Obituary of Hazen Branford Barton

It is with great sadness that the family of Hazen “Hay” Branford Barton announce his passing which occurred on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Waterborough, NB, on June 22, 1934, he was the son of the late Harry and Eva (Ryder) Barton.

Hazen is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Faye Barton (Hansen) of Lakeside, NB; son Scott Barton of Lakeside, NB; sisters Sadie White of Chipman, NB and Dorothy Ferris of Jemseg, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Hazen was predeceased by his brothers Basil Barton and Edward Barton; and sister Elsie Barton.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately.
