Obituary of Chuck Danells

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles “Chuck” Edward Danells announce his passing which occurred on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, on April 1, 1941, he was a son of the late Edward and Martha (Long) Danells.

Chuck is survived by his children: Charles Jr. “Chuck” (Angela) Danells of Saint John, Stanley (Rosalie) Danells of Hampton, George Danells of Hampton, and Donna (Michael) Palladini of Saint John; his grandchildren: Anthony, Joseph, Kevin, and Lily; his siblings: Calvin (Marilyn) Danells of Dartmouth, Bill (Judy) Danells of Dartmouth, Dawn (Edward) Algrem of Thunder Bay, and Lynn (Donald) Tobias of Nauwigewauk; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary; and his siblings: Paul and Fred Danells, Lou Jones, Ann King, and Ruby Cardella.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB and will be held privately. Donations in memory of Chuck may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, The Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
