To the Ketchum Family. We are so sorry to hear about Nancy.She was the anchor of your family. One phone call to Nancy in the morning and she would have one or more boys marching up to the farm to work for the day.She knew how to get the most out of everything and when she told you to do something , it was done asap, no one wanted to deal with the consequences. Many memories spent with her as I tagged along with Marie and Nancy, down to the hall for dances,bingo,fairs and suppers.They had a great friendship. In later years when she had more alone time, she would walk the block, and no one could keep up with her, same speed always -fast! May your many great memories , your family, neighbours and community provide comfort and peace to help deal with the passing of Nancy.

I think I first met Nancy when she joined the Sea Belles Ladies Barbershop chorus and we connected because we were from the same area....I live in Hampton. I also think we were in the St Alphonsus choir together for a short time She had a wicked sense of humour and told it as it was but in a kind way. So very sorry to learn about your mom. ❤️ I remember, when I was little, staying overnight at your mom and dad’s on many occasions…and they were both always so sweet and kind to me. Another memory I have of your mom…there always seemed to be a big bowl of bread dough, rising on the counter and she always seemed to constantly be baking and/or cooking. She was such a sweet lady and will be so missed by many. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful lady....truly a lady in so many ways.....one of the "neighbourhood Moms" when we were all growing up.....Our parents looked after all kids in our little domain and to us kids we also looked after each other - there may have been the occasional kid squabble but we all truly cared. Nancy will definitely be missed by so many...may each of you, at this time, recall the beautiful memories of time spent with her and may these memories somehow help ease the pain you feel in your hearts at this time. God bless you, Nancy, you are in the land of peace, not and happiness and joining the rest of the "neighbourhood parents". God now has another beautiful and special angel in His midst. I'm sure she'll continue to smile upon all her loving family with much joy, happiness and pride.
