Obituary of Dean Rodgers

It is with great sadness that the family of William Lewis Dean Rodgers announce his passing which occurred on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Brantford, ON, on November 7, 1969, he was the son of Hazel (Anthony) Rodgers and the late Donald Rodgers.

Dean loved listening to rock music as well as playing his guitar. He also enjoyed drawing but one of his favorite things to do was hitting the road on his Harley and enjoying the outdoors.

Dean is survived by his cherished daughters: Marcia Rodgers of Norton, NB and Brooklynn Chambers of Edmonton, AB; mother Hazel Rodgers of Hampton, NB; niece and nephew: Crystal Gill (Emily) of Saint John, NB and Richard Gill (Laura) of Rothesay, NB; as well as many extended family and friends. In addition to his father, Dean was predeceased by his sister Tondalaya Rodgers-Legacy.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4-7PM. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Dean may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
